The TravelTech Show is a global in-person and virtual exhibition for senior digital, marketing and commercial technology specialists to find innovation and build new relationships with global travel technology suppliers and local disrupters.
Europe’s dedicated event for travel technology returned to Olympia London on 26 – 27 February 2020. As the must-attend event for anyone involved in the travel sector, Travel Technology Europe brought together professionals working in digital, innovation and marketing across the industry. Offering the opportunity to meet with leading solution providers of key technologies, the event helped attendees meet and network with industry leaders and discover the latest in travel and marketing technology.
With over 35 streamed conference sessions, visitors got the chance to learn from technical experts on topics ranging from becoming a search superstar to discovering the devices of the future.
Far more than just a two-day exhibition, Travel Technology Europe 2020 connected exhibitors and visitors with thousands of marketing and technology buyers at the only dedicated marketplace for travel technology professionals on a large global scale.

A Marketing story gone wrong… or did it?
Daktela, as a cloud-based communications software provider, decided in late 2019 to focus some of our efforts within the Travel Market in 2020.
In a market where over 75 % of all bookings were handled over the telephone, this presented us with a great opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of our solution. We could improve telephone bookings, whilst at the same time, allow travel companies to extend their reach by developing new customer communication channels.
We booked a stand at TTE 2020 London, carried out extensive direct marketing campaigns, and
even launched a free prize draw. Our message “One platform – Infinite possibilities”, would allow
travel companies to communicate with customers through a range of voice and digital channels at the same time.
This all worked brilliantly, and footfall at our stand in February 2020 was amazing. By the end of the show, we had established almost 400 enquiries.
Then in March 2020, COVID-19 hit, and our enquiries literally disappeared overnight. As we await the easing of travel restrictions, we still believe that our message resonates with the travel industry, even more today than it did then, and we are ready to help when the travel industry returns to normality.
