Imagine a job where technology plays a central role and brings new challenges every day. We are looking for a senior IT infrastructure engineer to join our team and help us manage and optimize our robust IT infrastructure.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Managing our Proxmox virtualization platform and dedicated servers
- Managing backup systems like PBS, Dirvish, XtraBackup
- Managing monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Grafana, Wazuh
- Creating support scripts
- Troubleshooting, technical support, and performance tuning
- Handling network tasks like setting up FW, routing, nftables, fail2ban
What technologies will you work with?
You will have the opportunity to work with modern and stable technologies such as:
- Linux (we use Alma)
- Virtualization technologies (currently Proxmox)
- Open-source and LAMP applications - Apache/nginx, MySQL, Graylog, etc.
- Automation tool Ansible
- Bash, Python, and more (basic programming and scripting)
- IPFabric, IPSec, BGP, VRRP, HAProxy
- File systems CEPH, ZFS, BTRFS
What convinces us that you are a senior?
- You know what systemd and systemd units are
- You understand OOM and how to analyze it
- You can explain what this command does:
grep '^[0-9],\(A\|E\)' data.txt | sed 's/,/\t/g' | awk -F '\t' '{print $2, $3}' - You know exactly what the OSI model is
- You can describe the difference between symmetric and asymmetric encryption
- You can plan your work and don’t need hand-holding - you are independent
