Datacentres

Our infrastructure spans two datacentres in Prague: DC Nagano and TTC DC1. Both are equipped with high-security standards, backup internet, and power systems. We ensure redundancy, so in case of failure at one site, the other can handle operations. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance on status.daktela.com.

Network infrastructure

We connect our datacentres with dedicated fiber optic lines for fast, secure online migration of virtual servers. Customers access Daktela via backed-up internet or private connections like MPLS or IPsec. As a RIPE member, we control our routing, ensuring stability and protection against DDoS attacks through CloudFlare.

Hardware

Our servers include 1U Dell units with high-performance Intel CPUs and Supermicro MicroBlades, which offer compact, modular setups with low power consumption and redundant systems.

Monitoring

We monitor all devices 24/7 using Zabbix, tracking over 90,000 data points across 1,000 guests to ensure swift resolution of any issues. Our automated system alerts administrators via call and SMS in case of failure.

Backups

Daktela Cloud backups are performed three times daily using various technologies, ensuring that data is never more than 24 hours old.

Audits & Penetration Tests

Daktela Cloud undergoes regular penetration tests by external security experts, and we continuously monitor our network with tools like OpenVAS and nmap. We also pass annual security audits from Google, conducted by Bishop Fox.

Compliance

We were successfully audited during the COVID-19 pandemic for operating a traceable call center, meeting the standards of a Significant Information System under the Cyber Security Act. We also comply with ISO 27001 requirements. Full details of our compliance are available in our documentation.

Application security

Daktela communicates via HTTPS with a verified certificate. We use dynamic blacklists, whitelists, and firewall rules to filter internet access, and user authentication controls application access based on defined permissions.

Physical security

Only authorized, trained administrators can access our data centres, which comply with strict security protocols.

MVC framework

For applications built on top of Daktela V6, we use the MVC framework CakePHP 4, which provides ready-made solutions and fast learning opportunities for developers.

Modern technologies

We’ve shifted from AngularJS to React for building our ecosystem applications. For mobile and desktop apps, we use Flutter with Dart, offering modern, responsive solutions.

Integration ready

Daktela is designed for easy integration. Every installation has a published REST API, and we’re continuously adding libraries to our GitHub to simplify development.

Asterisk experts

The Asterisk project powers the voice features in our applications. Our team includes VoIP specialists who have enhanced Asterisk’s functionality to serve international telecom markets.

System Services

We ensure maximum efficiency for high-capacity contact centers by pushing system services to their limits, optimizing database structures, and configurations.

Custom framework

Our applications run on a custom PHP framework, allowing us to control and optimize performance at the deepest level. This gives us the ability to detect and resolve issues quickly for any user scenario.

Listening to Feedback

We collect all product feedback linking it to specific customers and business cases. This information is available to our product managers, developers, and everyone involved in the process, ensuring well-informed decision-making.

Strategic Planning

Each product version is planned based on customer needs. We organize functional specifications in ProductBoard, assigning them to specific versions while continually improving our application modules.
