What you’ll do
You will:
- Not just write code, but actively look for ways to speed things up and simplify them.
- Smartly use AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot, GPT) to accelerate development, refactoring, and test generation — while keeping best practices and security in mind.
- Develop and maintain the Daktela contact-center platform: a PHP 8.4 backend built on our custom ORM with some Symfony components.
- Look for bottlenecks across the stack (MySQL, REST API, daemons, real-time WebSocket flows) and proactively propose technical solutions that save the company — and our customers — time or money.
- Work with Git daily: feature branches, merge requests, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with teams across the company (Support, Infra, Product, Sales, Management).
Your experience and skills
- Willingness to learn, responsibility, and teamwork (a positive attitude and initiative are a must).
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development: You see AI as a "partner" that frees you from routine tasks, but you also understand the risks and know that you are ultimately responsible for safe and functional code (no mindless copying). .
- Communicative level of English (written and spoken).
- Czech or Slovak at C2 level.
