What you’ll do
We’re looking for an experienced automation engineer who will take ownership of our test automation and push it forward. You’ll be the one setting the direction.
- Take over and stabilize our API test suite (PHPUnit): fix flaky tests, cut execution time, and turn it into a trusted CI/CD quality gate.
- Drive Flutter test automation for desktop and mobile apps: expand and maintain integration tests (integration_test, Patrol or similar) running in CI.
- Own the automation strategy: decide what to automate, how, and in what order, with release quality as the goal.
- Use AI to scale your work: build reusable prompts/skills and workflows that generate, maintain and review tests faster than by hand.
- Work closely with developers at our Prague office to catch regressions before they reach production.
Your experience and skills
- 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
- You’ve designed (not just extended) a test framework and owned it in CI/CD.
- Solid API testing experience; practical PHP skills (reading, writing and modifying code, PHPUnit).
- Experience with UI/mobile automation (Flutter, Playwright, Appium or similar). Flutter is a big plus.
- Daily use of AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor). You know how to get real productivity out of them and where their output can’t be trusted, especially for correctness and security.
- Strong ownership: you figure out how to automate a feature on your own and move things forward quickly.
- Czech or Slovak at C2 level, communicative English.
