Generic OAuth 2.0 SSO

This integration enables secure single sign-on (SSO) by connecting your Daktela instance to any identity provider that supports the industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocol.

It is the ideal solution for connecting to custom-built identity systems or third-party providers that do not have a dedicated pre-built integration, such as Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, and many others. This ensures centralized user management, enhanced security, and a simplified login experience for your agents.

Setup Overview

Configuration is done in the Daktela GUI under Manage > Integrations. The process requires you to obtain several key pieces of information from your identity provider's application setup:

• Authorization URL: The endpoint where users are sent to log in.
• Access Token URL: The endpoint where Daktela exchanges an authorization code for an access token.
• User Info URL: The endpoint where Daktela can retrieve the logged-in user's details (like email and name).
• Client ID & Client Secret: The credentials for your application.

After the connection is configured and fields are mapped, each user must have the Generic OAuth 2.0 authentication method assigned to their Daktela profile.
