This integration enables single sign-on (SSO) for Daktela using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). At login, Daktela authenticates the user against Entra ID in real time rather than syncing user data on a schedule, so agents sign in with their existing Microsoft 365 credentials instead of a separate Daktela password.
Key Features:
In the Azure Portal, register a new application under Azure Active Directory > App registrations, add a Redirect URI pointing to your Daktela instance (Authentication > Add a platform > Web), and generate a client secret under Certificates & secrets.
In Daktela, go to Manage > Integrations, open Azure AD and click Configure. Enter a Title, the Application ID, and the Client secret, then click Activate. Finally, assign the configured method to each user under Manage > Users > List of Users by selecting it as their Verify type.
