Pipedrive & Daktela: Connect Your Sales CRM with the Contact Centre

March 21, 2026

"When did we last contact this person? And how did that call go?"

If your team uses Pipedrive as its sales CRM and makes calls through Daktela, you may currently be switching between two systems — and losing context in the process. Connecting Pipedrive with Daktela solves this problem, and it does so in two complementary ways.

What does the integration do?

The Pipedrive–Daktela integration offers two distinct functions that work hand in hand:

1. Contact synchronisation into Daktela

The standard CRM integration transfers your Pipedrive contacts directly into the Daktela address book. When an incoming call arrives, the agent immediately sees who is calling — without having to search in another system. You configure the synchronisation and field mapping yourself, tailored precisely to your needs.

2. Deal export as campaign records and call activity writeback

Using the Daktela Hub integration, you can export selected deals directly from Pipedrive as campaign records into Daktela. Once an agent completes a call and closes the activity, the result is automatically written back to Pipedrive and linked to the relevant deal. Your sales team has a complete picture of when and how a prospect was contacted — with no manual data entry.

How to set up contact synchronisation

The setup is straightforward and requires no developer.

Step 1 – Find your API token in Pipedrive:
Log in to Pipedrive as an admin user. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Personal preferences. Open the API tab and copy your personal API token.

Step 2 – Configure the integration in Daktela:
In Daktela, go to Manage → Integrations and click Configure under Pipedrive. Select which CRM Database you want to synchronise your data into. Enter your Pipedrive URL into the Instance URL field (e.g. https://yourname.pipedrive.com/) and paste your API token into the Key field. Click Authorise.

Step 3 – Map your CRM fields:
A list of your Daktela CRM fields will appear. For each field, select the corresponding Pipedrive field you want to synchronise. Click Activate.

How to set up deal export and call activity writeback

This function uses the Daktela Hub platform and requires a consultation with our team before setup.

Step 1 – Contact us first:
Before starting the configuration, please reach out to daktela@daktela.com — we will guide you through the process.

Step 2 – Install the Daktela app in Pipedrive:
Install the Daktela app from the Pipedrive Marketplace. The OAuth redirect will take you to Daktela Labs, where you create a new integration — the only mandatory field is your Daktela instance URL.

Step 3 – Configure form fields:
In the integration detail, create an event in Daktela and generate the form fields. Then insert the generated fields into the record type you want to use within your Daktela instance.

How does it work in practice?

Once the integration is active, your sales team can select deals in Pipedrive and export them to Daktela as campaign records with a single click on the Contact in Daktela button — available in both the deal detail and the deal list view. They choose the CRM record type and upload.

Each exported deal becomes a campaign record in Daktela containing the contact's phone number. Once the agent makes the call and closes the activity, this activity is automatically sent back to Pipedrive and linked to the relevant deal.

The result: your sales team sees the complete call contact history in Pipedrive without entering anything manually.

Why connect Pipedrive with Daktela?

Pipedrive is a popular tool among sales teams for managing deals and pipelines. Daktela handles customer communication. Without integration, each system knows only "its half of the story". After connecting them, you get one consistent view — who was contacted, when, with what outcome, and which opportunity it relates to.

If you use other tools alongside Pipedrive, Daktela offers a wide range of other native integrations. For workflow automation, Make or Zapier are great options, while HubSpot covers more complex CRM needs.
