Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic backend PHP developer who wants to participate in the development of our systems and help us move Daktela's products forward. You will be part of a team that builds modern and scalable solutions used by companies of various sizes.

We appreciate if you enjoy thinking about application architecture, improving existing processes, and looking for elegant technical solutions. Cooperation, open communication, and a responsible approach are important to us—we are not looking for just a "coder," but a colleague who wants to create quality software and participate in its direction.

What awaits you here?

• Development and maintenance of the backend of the shift planning application (workforce management)
• Creation and differentiation of REST API for communication with frontend and mobile clients
• Working with relational databases (MySQL)
• Code optimization, performance tuning, and technical solution design
• Cooperation with frontend developers, the QA team, and the product department
• Participation in code reviews and sharing of best practices

What you should bring to the table:

• You have experience with PHP 8+ and understand the principles of object-oriented programming.
• You know REST API principles and how to design clean and maintainable interfaces.
• You have worked with relational databases (ideally MySQL).
• Experience with the CakePHP framework (or Symfony or Laravel) is an advantage.
• You are familiar with Git and common development workflows (GitFlow, CI/CD).
• You are a team player who is not afraid to share ideas and learn new things.
